    Application

    Long-range point-to-point (PTP) backhaul

    Rural point-to-multipoint (PTMP) GigaPoP

    Suburban MicroPoP when foliage exists

INDUSTRY-LEADING PRICE PERFORMANCE FOR FIXED WIRELESS MARKETS

5c has been designed specifically to handle long-range backhaul (PTP), point-to-multipoint (PTMP) GigaPoP links, and PTMP MicroPoP links impaired by vegetation. Connectorized by design, the C5c mates with many popular antennas, delivering 700 Mbps of TCP throughput.

C5C used at 6500 altitude with -20 degree c temperature with out any problem.

    Flexible Antenna Options

Connect to virtually any dual polarization antenna to custom engineer longer distance client links. The C5c has dual RP-SMA connectors for easy cabled antenna connectivity. It can be mounted to any pole via hose clamps or easily clipped onto antennas supporting compatible clip-on mounting bracket systems

    Multi-User MIMO

A key component to scaling networks efficiently is leveraging innovative new Multi-User capabilities. With MU-MIMO, multiple clients on the same access point are coordinated by the access point to simultaneously share spectrum “spatially” via unique antenna beamforming. Each client device shares spatial geographic information with its associated Mimosa A5 device to allow coordination of the shared spectrum. This radically improves multipoint access scaling and spectral efficiency.

    TDMA GPS Sync Client

The C5c offers client-side support for the Mimosa A5 multipoint GPS sync enabled TDMA protocol. This ensures each client device precisely receives and transmits under the timing control of the access point and can dynamically request upstream bandwidth. As opposed to alternative (fixed) timeslot protocols, upstream bandwidth and latencies are allocated on demand which enables significantly higher overall upstream network bandwidth utilization.

    PTP Backhaul Links

The C5c provides extreme price/ performance for PTP backhaul links in a small form factor. Wide frequency range support allows avoidance of crowded 5 GHz spectrum bands. Where regulations allow, long distances are enabled with high system power and flexible antenna options.

    SRS Client

The C5c offers client-side support for Mimosa’s proprietary Spectrum Reuse Synchronization (SRS) technology.

At The Top Up the Mountain Carrier

Mimosa C5c was successfully installed to connect Amadablam Base Camp (4800 meters) from Pyramid Height (5050 meters). The link delivers internet service to trekkers, climate change researchers, Lodge owners, villagers and Climbing Expedition troops.

    ADD SUBSCRIBERS WITH EASE

Auto-Provisioning together with the Mimosa Install App, now dramatically reduces subscriber installation time, automates device provisioning and allows seamless device integration into an ISP network.

    FLEXIBLE ANTENNA OPTIONS

Connect to virtually any dual polarization antenna to custom-engineer longer distance client links. The C5c supports 2x2:2 MIMO dual connector RP-SMA for easy cabled antenna connectivity and can be mounted to any pole via hose clamps, or easily clipped onto antenna supporting compatible clip-on mounting bracket systems.

    SPECTRUM REUSE SYNCHRONIZATION (SRS) CLIENT

In SRS mode, all uplink and downlink transmissions are scheduled by the Access Point (A5/A5c), which greatly improves medium access protocol (MAC) efficiency, allows interference coordination, and reduces jitter. In contrast, in WiFi-Interop mode, clients need to contend with each other to access the channel, which leads to reduced MAC efficiency, higher interference levels, and higher jitter.
